Installing and removing the BedRug Custom Truck Bed Mat # BR94FR repeatedly may result in less "stickiness" as it is really designed to be installed and then remain inside the truck bed of your 2021 GMC Sierra 3500, so I do recommend leaving it in after installation.
The fasteners are going to stick to the truck bed extremely well provided you follow the instructions when installing it in regards to making sure your bed is clean so it has a smooth surface to stick to. I have added a link... view full answer...

The 2017 GMC Sierra 3500 cab-and-chassis is a confirmed fit for the Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Trailer Hitch # 41947 so long as the truck frame width dimension is 34-inches from outside edge to outside edge. This frame dimension requirement applies to all hitches we offer for this vehicle, all shown on the linked page.
Also linked are the instructions for this hitch which include specifics for your truck on page 5. I took that specific page and linked it for you. The red arrows point out the... view full answer...
The Wheel Masters Tire Pressure Valve Extenders - 180-Degree Bend - Aluminum Rear Wheels - Qty 2 # WM8029180 are a great option but for a little more accessibility it sounds like you'd prefer something more like the Wheel Masters 2-Hose Inflation Kit - 16" to 19-1/2" Inner Dually - Hand Hole Mount # WM8007 or the Wheel Masters 2-Hose Inflation Kit - 16" to 19-1/2" Inner Dually - Hub Mount # WM8006. This will give you an easy access to that inner tire inflation valve but you'll need to... view full answer...
I spoke with Demco and they said 5th Wheel Rail Adapter # DM6333 not making contact with the truck bed is completely normal. In the trucks with the puck systems, the design by the manufacturers is for the puck system to carry the pin weight. This is due to the framework under the bed being much stronger than the actual bed floor. So with all that being said, the Demco brackets are designed not to sit on the bed floor. view full answer...
According to Curt's instructions, the torque specs for the leg bolts on the Curt A25 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package # C16066 is 100-ft.lbs.
I've also included an install video on a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 for you to check out as well. view full answer...
No, the air bag on the Curt Flex Air 5th Wheel Pin Box # LC65VR should not deflate while you're towing. If it does, then that means you have a leak and the air bag would need to be replaced.
It's not required, but it is good practice to deflate the bag whenever you store your trailer to keep unnecessary pressure off of the bag and it's fittings. view full answer...
The Progressive Dynamics Inteli-Power RV Converter and Battery Charger part # PD9160ALV is actually designed exclusively for lithium (LiPO4) batteries so it will work great charging them. The built-in charge wizard provides the fast initial charge these types of batteries need and then drops down to a maintenance voltage of 13.6 volts.
I recommend going with a converter/charger as opposed to an inverter/charger mainly due to the cost savings. view full answer...
I attached a link to an installation video for the # HBA-CAM you can check out.

Although I do not know all of the changes in the rear suspension between the 2018 and 2022 GMC Sierra 3500, I can tell you that the fit will depend on the air bag. Some of the air bags that fit the 2018 are also confirmed to fit the 2022, some are not.
For example, the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2613 are confirmed to fit the 2018 and 2022 Sierra 3500. The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs # AL57338 are confirmed to fit the 2018, but not the 2022. Since there are... view full answer...
I reached out to Pace Edwards and found that it is possible to cut the rails shorter on the Pace Edwards Bedlocker Retractable Hard Tonneau Cover - Electric - Aluminum - Black # PE44CV. This would allow the cover to fit along with your toolbox on your 2021 GMC Sierra 3500. The one thing to keep in mind should you choose to do this is that the warranty will no longer be valid if you cut the rails. view full answer...
That's a good question, and it comes down to engineering and strength. The pins that hold the Companion in place to the puck system of your 2021 GMC Sierra 3500 were engineered to withstand what are significant forces on the hitch while towing with the Companion installed in the truck's puck system. The padlocks, however, were not designed with this type of constant force in mind, and using them while towing could lead to failure.
So while I know it's not the most convenient thing in... view full answer...
The Swagman Tailwhip, part # S64760 is a great pick for the 2017 GMC Sierra 3500. I reached out to Swagman about the rack's temperature sensitivity.
They confirmed that the rack would be just fine, but the foam would be extremely hard at -20 to -30 below zero. This risks damage to your bikes, but would perform substantially better than a metal rack in those temperatures. view full answer...
For the Trailair Flex Air 5th Wheel Pin Box # LC328492 referenced in your question, you do not need to let the air out of the bag before unhooking the trailer from your GMC Sierra 3500. Letting some air out may make this process a tad easier, but it is certainly not required.
I just recommend letting the air out before putting the trailer away for long term storage. view full answer...
I wouldn't say there is actually a formula for setting the height for the Curt Q25 Item # C97FR on a 2021 GMC Sierra 3500 . It is recommended that the bottom edge of the nose on your 5th wheel is 6 inches above the bed rails. I typically set the hitch height in the middle initially. This seems to be the standard height of most campers. Once height is set, hook the camper up and check the distance between the bed rails and the bottom edge of the nose. If you have close to 6" you are good... view full answer...
The SuperSprings SuperSway Stops part # SS65GR for a 2022 GMC Sierra 3500 will only engage when loaded, they basically just extend the upper overload a few inches so they come into contact sooner offering faster support. The heat shield does have to be removed to install B&W gooseneck trailer hitch # BWGNRK1016 on your 2016 GMC Sierra 3500 because it is in a position that interferes with the hitch installation. All of the gooseneck hitches for your truck will either need to have the heat shield removed or trimmed for installation. view full answer...
In order to provide a 12v power supply to the 7 way trailer plug on your 2017 GMC Sierra 3500 you'll need to make sure that you've got a wire running from the plug to the battery. If you're trying to install the Twist-In 7 Way # PK11916 in your truck bed you can likely tap into the 12v wire on the back of your factory connector to provide this power.
If your factory 7 way does not have power then I would check the towing fuses, as you might have a blown fuse that's causing the issue. view full answer...
